Smoke, Pictures, Book Club

We got a reprieve from the smoke this afternoon. The window was small and we chose not to exploit it. All fingers are crossed that conditions improve. Want to watch conditions? Here are a couple of places to follow along:

Team pictures are tomorrow (Wednesday). Picture packets were sent home with athletes today for those who are interested in purchasing pictures. Please bring a change of clothes for the rest of practice after pictures.


I would like to host a cross country book club. The cost is $10, fully reimbursable to anyone who participates through the season. The book is Endure by Alex Hutchinson. Book club meetings will take place on Mondays, tackling about a chapter each week. Sign-ups here by Friday (8/24). Books will be handed out on Tuesday, August 28. The first conversation will take place on Labor Day.
