This morning, we learned that there have been new changes to the policies regulating the sizes of outdoor gatherings (150 max inside the athletic fields) and we will now be permitted to have limited spectators.
For our meet on Wednesday, 90 of the 150 maximum are the athletes from both squads, coaches, and meet workers. We would like to invite the parents of our seniors to have first dibs on the 60 remaining spots, limiting families to 4 spectators each.
We want some of these 60 spectators to help as "course marshals" at various positions on the course. If you are willing to fill this role, please plan to do so for the duration of the meet. Please arrive by 3:30 and meet at the trackside bleachers to be given your assignments.
The remaining spectators will be confined to the bleachers on the track. Masks and social distancing are required of all spectators. The entry for spectators will be the gate under the State Champion billboard on the west end of the student parking lot on Science Park Drive.

We will host another meet in two weeks against Westview and will have another sign up for a new group of spectators. At this time, visiting teams are not granted permission to invite spectators.
Only the space inside the fencing of the school is considered the "athletic fields".
